Modern Saraylar Halal Hotel Spa is one of the first conservative concept hotels in Turkey in the Antalya-Alanya area, which attracts conservative Islamic families with its rich infrastructure. Modern Saraylar, is a so-called Islamic, family friendly resort. Meaning, you pay extra to be assured that your children and women can safely roam the facilities without worrying about inappropriate incidents. We have been coming here for 4 years straight, since 2021, with other friends and families. The facilities, accommodation and food is quite good. However, in 2023 a couple of the staff members from the animation team, made very inappropriate advances to a couple of our daughters ages 14 and 15, this was to a degree, that we had to report this to the hotel manager and the owner of the animation team. And it wasn't until we threatened to go to the police, that they decided to act on this and the assured us, that the person would be removed from the resort, never to work there again. The worst incident however, happened this year in July 2024, when the leader of the animation team, took advantage of a naive girl and lured her to a secluded place in the middle of the night, where he tried to rape her. Luckily, she managed to break free and run away. This time though, the Gendarmery was called and the person was put under arrest. This was again, strongly mentioned to the hotel manager along with the hotel owner, who again assured us that this person would never work in the hotel business, let alone on the hotel. We spent most of the morning on this matter and all the families were in great shock about the incident. After checking out, some days later we were shocked to find out, that the creep who tried to rape the poor girl was back at work at the hotel, the same was his cousin from the previous year who made advances to our teenage girls. This hotel should not be allowed to operate with such a horrific and dishonest staff. This is an absolute nightmare, we are disgusted that this is allowed. If you choose this resort, you can not be at ease with your family.
