Transportation to Sapanca
By Car:
A road trip to Sapanca by car is both enjoyable and convenient, as it is located along the Istanbul-Ankara TEM highway. If you enter the highway from the Istanbul toll booths, you can reach the Sapanca toll booths in approximately one hour under normal driving conditions. If you start from Ankara, the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.

By Bus:
If you are traveling from Istanbul to Sapanca, you can find buses at any time of the day. Two bus companies operate between Sakarya and Istanbul, providing frequent services from early morning until late at night. During holidays and New Year’s Eve, they offer additional trips to meet increased demand.

Both companies have shared offices in Sapanca and, upon request, they can pick you up from your location and take you to your bus. When traveling from Istanbul, buses drop passengers off at Uzunkum Köyü rest area. From there, you can take a minibus to reach Sapanca’s city center. On your return trip, there is no need to go all the way to Adapazarı, as you can board your bus from a rest area closer to Sapanca’s center.
